First let me say that I was recently forced to retire my Canon Pro9000 Mark II printer (purchased in 2012) because the printhead stopped printing yellow. After multiple cleanings to no avail, I searched online for a compatible replacement printhead online and apparently they can only purchased from parts dealers in China. So I started shopping for a new printer on Amazon. At first I was thinking about the Canon Pro 100, which is supposed to be the Pro9000s successor. Then I started reading the reviews about the IP 8750. It seemed to me like most of the negative reviews did not involve the actual print quality at all, but of the wireless connectivity which people endlessly complained about. DO NOT let the negative reviews regarding the wireless feature deter you from trying this printer. I followed the instructions that came in the box and had the wireless connection working in literally less than 2 minutes (not exaggerating).Regarding the print quality, my professional rating for the prints rendered by this printer is 95% accuracy. I have made numerous color and b&w test prints on various types of paper, and the color reproduction is really quite amazing. The IP 8750 produces much better prints than I was expecting for this price point. Some of the reviews here stated that this printer actually produces better prints than the Pro 100. I don’t know about that; however, from my experience so far, its not hard to believe.I will post a follow up edit in a few months.

Printers are the bane of most people’s existence. Most of them suck. Countless power, ink, time, all lost to so many printers, like dust in the wind. Tears in the rain. You get the point. But one printer has seemingly emerged from the ashes that is the Office Space-worthy heap of unworthy printers. The Canon Color imageCLASS LBP622Cdw IS the printer you are looking for. The one color laser printer to rule…the home office!Okay, okay, so I’ve only had the thing for a day. But this single day will forever live on in infamy as the day that I had my faith restored in humanity’s ability to create an even halfway decent printer. I only hope I don’t regret writing these words down later…How could a mere PRINTER elicit such an intense reaction, and such a lengthy review, ironically eating up more of my precious time, which I had only a few paragraphs ago alluded to printers as being all too often guilty of sucking up? It all starts with the setup process of the Canon Color imageCLASS LBP622Cdw. All you do is take it out of the box, remove a dozen or so pieces of tape that were slapped on it to keep its parts from jostling around too much while in transit, load its 250-sheet paper tray with a phat stack, and turn her on.A setup wizard shortly appears, one that seems to have +10 to charm (or charisma, I don’t know as I don’t play D&D but am familiar with the terms). This wizard gets the Canon Color imageCLASS LBP622Cdw connected to your WiFi network. I know what you’re thinking: “But reviewer! One does not simply connect a new printer to a WiFi network. One must clear out at least an hour of their time in a futile attempt to get the new printer to see even a feeble wireless signal using its dinky embedded chipset, while located a mere meter away from the access point, before resigning to either hard-wiring or, worse yet, sharing the printer from one computer, ‘connected’ as it were via an old-timey USB-B, thus dooming said computer to a life cut short as it now has to stay on at all times if someone wants to try and print remotely.” You know, like in the endearing fairy tale Goldilocks and the Three Million Failed Attempts to Connect Her Printer, where her printer never connects to her home network, and Windows Sharing fails, and so, as she lived in a time before cell phones, she writes down her directions to wherever the hell she was going, and gets lost along the way, and, well, the rest is history. But hold your wires! This wizard knows what it is doing. I was able to connect to our WiFi ON THE FIRST TRY. This never happens but in OTHER fairy tales!Alright, so connecting the printer to the WiFi was a breeze. All you printer haters out there are probably thinking, “Surely there will be problems installing the thing on computers, right?” Before this printer came along and swept me off my ink-stained feet, I’d be there right alongside you, dear reader, seething at this review that is surely going to dash my printing dreams on some jagged rocks as the familiar “Printer Offline” status creeps its way in as it is wont to do. But lo and behold! There is a twist to this review that I never saw coming. After I connected the Canon Color imageCLASS LBP622Cdw to WiFi, I immediately went to a laptop in the house, and steadied my nerves for what would no doubt be a hard-fought battle of driver downloads, UAC prompts, Print Spooler service restartings, pings, hard drinking, swearing, sweating, rebooting, freezing, first-born sacrifices, and other dark times. But when I went to the “Printers & scanners” section of Windows 10’s Devices screen in Settings, I had to do a triple take. No, make that a quadruple take. Maybe even quintuple! THE PRINTER WAS ALREADY INSTALLED AND READY. It felt like I was in a horror film where the bad guy is calling from inside the house, except this time, it was an archangel sent from the printer gods to fight my battle for me before I even knew one was coming. Oh reader, how I wept at this IMMACULATE INSTALLATION of a printer. To be alive in a time with automatic – dare I say it, autoMAGICally installing printers! And this happened not once, not twice, but thrice! All three laptops I checked had the printer up and ready, and most importantly, WORKING!All of this is well and good, but what of the printer’s performance, you may ask? It is easily the quietest laser printer I have owned or used, having gone through three or four in my day. There is a loudish beep after a print job finishes (which can be disabled!), which is handy if you’re across the house and can’t quite hear the gentle purring of the printer’s many internal gears and doodads. It’s also color, and easily prints in a quality that bests our inkjet. Plus, as this is a laser printer, the ink won’t just evaporate into thin air like inkjet cartridges love to do.The easy setup was a nice change of pace. But the automatic installation on computers on the same network? That sealed the deal. I am a changed man. If this printer holds up (fingers crossed so hard they might break), our homes will be filled with the gentle whirring of Canon laser printers for decades to come. That’ll do, Canon. That’ll do.

This is a great printer. Color replication is what I consider perfect. However, the toner that came with the printer does not last long. I have already replaced the black toner after 2 months of light use so we probably got 300-400 pages out of the starter toner.I just ordered another black hi-yield toner so I will let you know if it burns through it quickly. The one thing I do not like is that with other laser printers I’ve had, when it start to run out, you can take it out, shake it, and get more pages out of the toner cartridge. On this one, it counts the pages and won’t let you override it.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I was honestly a bit doubtful of how the HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 all-in-one was going to stack up to the LaserJet I’ve been using for the last few years. The price point is surprisingly affordable in a field of many printers that claim to offer huge quality at a reasonable price. When I received the printer I was immediately worried that it was going to be way too big to fit into my designated printer space in my home office. Upon opening, I was pleasantly surprised at the set up and how compact it really is for such an extensive machine. Upon unboxing, I followed the set up guide and it was a breeze. Anyone with basic knowledge of a computer could have this set up and put to work in 20 minutes. The bulk of my printing falls into 2 categories- school work and crafting. For school work, a simple color printer gets the job done for producing nice documents and occasional image printing. For crafting, I need a higher quality image, accurate CMYK/color matching, and a high dpi for crisp output. I also require that it can handle sublimation ink for my heat transfer crafts. Well, folks, I am here to tell you that the OfficeJet Pro 9025 delivers all of that and more. After a quick set up and connecting to my computer wirelessly, I did a couple of test prints (see pictures). The color match was spot on. The images were crisp and clear, giving me a photo that was frame-worthy. I would feel as confident printing my personal pictures and crafting images as I would mass printing professional looking flyers for work. I also need to not that the printer is not loud. That’s a small peeve, but something that will make me write off a printer. I dont want to hear the screeches or beeps, feel my desk shake as it prints, etc. This printer is quiet, fast, and really performs. Another plus is that it is InstantInk ready. Who hasn’t gone to print and realized their cartridge is at the end of its lifespan?! This printer will communicate with InstantInk and based on your chosen subscription, will order your refills as needed! Don’t forget that aside from printing, this is a scanner, copier, and fax. It maintains image integrity and produces a fantastic duplication of your documents via copy and scan. There isn’t really an area of expertise that this printer doesn’t hit the ball out of the park. This is a solid 10/10, highly recommend. It is a behemoth worthy of business use that is just as great for home office use. The price is on point and the quality far exceeds expectations!

If you want this printer for wireless connection, I would say do not walk–RUN away to something else. I will spare you describing the literal hours I went through with HP’s useless instructions, attempting troubleshooting, and trying workarounds to no avail. Here’s the short-ish version. The printer connected with my WiFi, no problem. Then to get it connected to the network, it was supposed to print out a claim code, but instead printed out a sheet of “what to do if you don’t get a claim code” instructions. I followed those exactly, but it kept giving me a “reload Web Services” message. No instructions on how to overcome that. I turned off my firewall, but no. HP’s website was no help. They have no tech support. Their automated “chat” is a parrot-like loop. I got my husband involved in case there was something I was missing, and we used another computer and its web browser. Same results. I finally used the USB connection and got it to print. But I bought this printer for its wireless capabilities. I will be returning it. Major fail.If you have found my review helpful, I’d really appreciate if you’d click the “Helpful” button. Thanks so much for reading! Liz

After only three prints since I took this printer out of the box and it’s apparent that this printer ghosts badly. Totally unusable prints. If you look at the attached image you will see what I mean. I’ve had the printer for about a week and have printed about 25 pages and they all look BAD. I have also tried different paper stock and paper weights.

This is a new printer, and it looks like HP rushed it to market without enough QA. I’ve owned 4 HP multi-function printers over the last 5 years from 3 different generations, and have been very happy overall. The installation is generally fast and painless and the printers have been reliable. When I tried to order another one of the same generation I’ve been using, I found it out of stock on Amazon so decided to try the newer 9015. Big mistake. It’s been a disaster from the beginning. The printer has had a series of issues (printhead missing or incorrectly installed, cartridge problem), the software is buggy and had a hard time finding the printer, etc. The net result is that after 90 minutes I still haven’t gotten through the on-screen menu. I’d give this another 6-12 months to settle out before ordering it – unless you want to get it for a particularly despised family member as a gag gift.

This is my second HP all in one wireless printer that allows you to connect using their HP Smart app to do a plethora of printing.I had to admit this is bigger than I thought it would be, but that is my own person ‘duh’ because it is designed for small business and not just a personal printer. It has two trays that together can hold an entire ream of paper. It has a digital screen panel control that help accomplish tasks anywhere from the initial set up to scanning, printing and making cool brochures. You can connect via wifi using your router network, a connection to the computer with its own direct connection, USb or bluetooth.I have it connected to my wifi router. And , as was true with my other HP wireless printer, this caused some small issues with maintaining connectivity. It might just be the way my ISP and router is set, but I had to go in an give the printer a static IP address because some of the devices in my house (we have 4 computers, 4 phones and a tablet) had trouble discovering the printer based on the home network name, but easily found it based on the IP address. If the IP address changed (which they do in this case because of the way DHCP leases are set up in my home router) then those devices sometimes thought the printer was not online. It is fast, the print is crisp and clean and I love using the app to print documents from anywhere. One other thing to mention, the initial set up takes you through a lot of the HP marketing stuff which can be declined. One that seems really attractive is the Instant Ink program. This is a great option, initally, as you can get ink replacement at a deep discount. You set up your account through HP, set up how much ink you think you’ll use in a month (this can be adjusted later if you find you use less or more), this will be used to set a recurring, monthly charge from your credit card/bank account. HP can tell when you are getting low on ink and will automatically send you ink before you run out. As mentioned this is offered at a pretty nice discount over buying replacement cartridges in a store. It is a great option if you plan on using and keeping this printer for any length of time. One caveat, if you replace the printer or cancel your instant ink enrollment, the instant ink cartridges will no longer work in your printer as of your effective cancel date. Even if they are already installed in the printer, even if you have some stock piled ready to be installed, yes even the ones already paid for. So for this printer, I declined the instant ink enrollment, since even with the discount I lost money from the last printer I had. I just didn’t print enough (even though I was in the lowest possible enrollment tier).

I have had a home office since 1996 and have bought several printers, all-in-one, colour, although I have a separate fax machine.I received the printer from Amazon.com last night at 6:00 p.m., and proceeded to install it immediately because I had documents that needed to be printed urgently.I printed the test page FOUR TIMES, but the yellow colour was always completely missing. I followed the instructions to “clean” the printer heads, to no avail. All the manufacturers of the printers I previously owned had a number dedicated to help consumers install their printers. Brother DID NOT HAVE A TECHNICAL SUPPORT NUMBER WRITTEN ANYWHERE!Unlike the Canon I replaced after 9 years of use, whose page support automatically opens when the machine is copying/printing, this printer’s page support has to be manually opened. The paper drawer’s holders (green, cheap plastic) are difficult to adjust. I thought they would break.I was installing it last night because I had urgent documents I needed printed.I “chatted” with a representative by the name of “Luciano”. HE WAS OF NO HELP WHATSOEVER.I searched on the Internet for “Brother printers technical support” and they were all from third parties, suspicious, unknown.I spoke to a supervisor this morning. I followed the steps she instructed me to perform, after which she informed me that the yellow cartridge needed to be replaced. THESE WERE SUPPOSED TO BE NEW CARTRIDGES! I told her that I wanted all the cartridges to be replaced, as they were obviously old, and more would dry out. She refused, she would only replace the yellow cartridge. She further stated that I should have bought the printer from Brother, not from Amazon.com

Pros:+ Almost Flawless Setup, pretty EASY overall (with one point, see notes below)+ CHEAP Price: You will pay $55+ more for a similar model anywhere else+ TINY footprint, this is a little model that does everything you need for an 8.5x11Cons:- The WEIRDEST usb cable location that you will ever find. You have to open the scanner (under) to find the plug, then make sure that your cable is wrapped around inside the model and tucked closed. It’s weird. There are LINKS/vids on youtube, watch one of those. They will walk you through it.(The directions that you get with the printer do not cover this well).- Noise. It is not a quiet printer. You hear all of it, even the wheels turning.So.. keep that in mind when you decide where you want to put it.Overall, it’s a nice little desktop printer. It does what it needs to do, and they currently have a VERY fair price on it.It’s good for general desktop stuff, and at a price-point that makes it a good buy.EDIT: If you are using this printer to print Art images.. think again.I have tried everything to get it to print quality images and it does not. This is a printer for text, articles, etc. NOT for images. Know that.

this product looks and works great except for one important thing, it purposefully wastes your ink so you have to buy more. I can’t figure out how to stop the printer from printing a page with updates after my computer downloads an automatic update, instead of sending me an email or a notification on my computer, it prints the update… waste of ink and paper. or, if there is an issue with the printer, instead of communicating it to you on your computer, it makes you print an info page in color, to know the issue, again, WHY are we being forced to print instead of receiving this information via email or notification? I was then forced to print again hours later because of an issue that I did receive a notification about. Does HP think we aren’t smart enough to figure out that they’re purposefully wasting our ink? I’ve had this computer not even one day and so far I’ve already had to print 10 pages of things which has eaten into my ink stores. Returning unless HP can offer a solution.

My Canon all-in-one printer died after more than 5 years of use, but it had never printed color graphics to my satisfaction, so I replaced it with this all-in-one from Brother. I made this choice based on customer reviews and 4 different rating lists.Pros: The printer was incredibly easy to set up. The screen on the machine walked me through the process and it may have been the easiest set up of any electronic devise I have ever used. The paperwork provided in the both supplied a web address with easy to follow instructions that allowed a simple, but not fast, loading of the software drivers for every device in the house. The printer does an excellent job with black ink on white paper. Both single and double sided documents are produced quickly with crisp text and a beautiful presentation.Cons: While the printer is great for documents in black, it does not print colors well. Colors are muted and dull… as if the device was being stingy with the ink rather than there being an issue with the color of the ink. Purple prints in an especially low level of color saturation. The ink shows no gaps or breaks, but is not true to the color on the graphic. The particular file I am using as a comparison was printed on my company’s printer and my home printer. The print from work shows a rich vibrant purple, the print from home gives the impression that the same color was bleached by the sun all summer long. The printer does not automatically adjust to different thicknesses of paper stock. The test that I used was plain paper and label paper. This is an easy adjustment on the printer’s screen that only takes seconds, so I think this is more of an FYI than a con.

If you’re a photographer or graphic designer, do not buy this. I’ve looked everywhere for canon paper icc profiles. Canon says they’re included with the driver but I can not find them anywhere on my computer. After some research, others have had the same problem. Canon does not let you download them from their site. I’ve tried contacting customer support and no response. Without icc profiles, you cannot print accurate color. This is ridiculous. Never buying a canon printer again.

  14. Tim 说:

Right out of the box it was one problem after another. First, the printer wouldn’t connect on a 5G network (the network I use for my home computer)… so I had to switch my home computer to another network if I want to print. Second, the printer had a very difficult time finding my network. Took about a half a dozen times before connecting. Once these issues were resolved then the color ink cartridge that was included with the computer didn’t work. So now it’s on to spending at least 20 minutes on the phone with HP support with someone who does not speak clear english. …. After about a 30 minute call they told me to buy a new color cartridge. When I told the person I did not want to purchase a new $25 color cartridge when I had just purchased a brand new printer, they told me that was the procedure because they were not sure if it was the cartridge or the printer that was defective (that rationale still doesn’t make any sense to me). That was HP’s “help.” It’s that kind of crappy customer service that will have me going out of my way to NOT buy an HP product in the future.I had the printer less than 2 hours before I had to box it up and return it. I just want to print out some plain, basic documents over my home network. Didn’t think that would be such a hassle.

  15. Savvycoach 说:

Printer is everything it’s supposed to be: reliable and great prints (I’m a photographer, so I’m pretty picky). It’s reasonably fast and the wireless functions work great. No issues, it’s a solid large-format printer as it should be from Canon. HOWEVER, I did want to note that I bought this with the “ink kit” option that included a set of extra ink cartridges for an additional $55. DON’T DO THIS. While the “extra” ink kit does indeed fit the 8720m it is MISSING two inks: the small black and the grey. It’s my bad, really, I didn’t look closely enough at the box listed on the page but sure enough, what you see is what you get: four and not six ink carts. I have notified Amazon that kit does not include the full correct set of carts (again, the ones included do work fine), so we’ll see if they change it up. Just order the printer WITHOUT that kit until they get it figured out. The printer does come with a complete set of ink carts in the box so it was good to go as purchased and now I have a few spares, but not one of each as it were…
